What are the important publications and how are they used?

UNDP has built an evidence base, drawing from countries' experience
on what has worked and what hasn't. Based on that experience, UNDP has
advanced an eight-point action agenda to the international community
in order to accelerate MDG progress and reach the 2015 goalposts.
Capitalising on the evidence base and its role as a coordinating agency, UNDP has further developed an MDG Acceleration Framework in response to the question of what happens after the 2010 MDG Summit. The framework is a methodology countries can use to identify and resolve obstacles that hamper faster progress.
