UNDP's Democratic Governance Practice promotes knowledge leadership and innovation in governance. It is a voluntary, flexible community based on common professional interest among UNDP staff involved in governance issues across all levels and locations. Members of this community of practice share and learn from each other's knowledge and experience and develop new ideas. The OGC is mandated to codify, analyze and disseminate the learning from UNDP's work in DG, with a view to informing DG policy and programmes.
