International workshop on the UNDP ART activities in Senegal supported by the Decentralized Cooperation actors Regione Lombardia and Unione Province Lombarde

Last 23 November, an international workshop organized by the Milan provinces held in Milan, on "Project "Triangular cooperation Italy-Senegal-Niger to streighten the capacities of local authorities in the management of own resources". The workshop aimed to present the results of the project "Water for Louga" implemented in Senegal supported by Regione Lombardia and Unione Province Lombarde, within the UNDP ART framework.

The Senegalese partners (mayor of Louga and general secretary of the Louga Region M. Mamadou Yeriba Ba) expressed satisfaction for the activities carried out in line with South-South and Triangular cooperation trough UNDP ART's institutional framework, as it puts its large network of decentralized cooperation partners at disposal of development partners.

At the end, they expressed the willingness to continue this triangular cooperation in partnership with the Regione Lombardia, Unione Province Lombarde and UNDP.
