10 June 2013: Power of Energy Efficiency: Success Stories from the Indian Steel Re-rolling Sector: Watch how UNDP’s partnership with the Ministry of Steel, Government of India and the Global Environment Facility is helping steel re-rolling mills address barriers to large-scale commercialization of energy-efficient technologies.
15 May 2013: Restoring hope in the future for Prespa Lake, FYR Macedonia: Farming practices in this environmentally vulnerable region — home to over 2,000 species of birds, fish and mammals — have been identified as a major cause of pollution to the ancient freshwater lakes. UNDP, with funding from the GEF, has been working closely with the local Municipality of Resen for many years to restore the health of the Prespa ecosystem.

The project is implemented by UNDP with funding from the Global Environment Facility, and supported by the World Health Organization and the international NGO Healthcare Without Harm.
