20 August 2014: From the fields to the table: Investing in climate-resilient infrastructure and crops in Fiji: The Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change Project (PACC), funded by the Global Environment Facility’s Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF) with support from UNDP, is a source of renewal for coastal communities and low-lying farmers in Fiji experiencing the impacts of climate change.
16 July 2014: Conserving medicinal plants, sustaining livelihoods: In India, a UNDP partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Forests, the Government and the Global Environment Facility, is encouraging communities of traditional healers across the ecologically-fragile states of Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Arunachal Pradesh - home to about 40 percent of India’s medicinal plants - to document their knowledge about local health traditions and threatened medicinal plants.
