UNDP-GEF supports countries in increasing their resilience to climate change and in long-term integrated planning to adapt to the effects of climate change.

In 2011, 42 countries are implementing 30 projects with GEF funding and the support of UNDP. These projects have received US$ 87 million in GEF grant financing and US$ 209 million in country investments (co-financing).
