International advisory group for the conference

There is a high-level international advisory group, which provides strategic advice on the organization of the conference. The group is comprised of senior representatives as seen below.

Work of this group is done virtually via email and Skype teleconferences, and is facilitated by the secretariat/co-hosts of the conference, the Public Service Commission and UNDP Evaluation Office.

Roles and responsibilities

Key activities of the group include advising the co-hosts/co-organizers of the conference on the following:

• Selection criteria for participating governments and members
• Selection of key note speakers
• Development of the concept note on the theme of the conference
• Review of draft papers and provide comments to enhance overall quality
• Development of the draft proceedings paper
